“Angels for Animals” sponsors have helped PETA build and deliver doghouses to dogs often in desperate need for more than a decade. For many of these animals this was the first real shelter that they’d ever had.

Each PETA-built doghouse has a generous overhang and an entrance covered by a flap to help keep the interior dry even during torrential rain and sleet. They are built to last for years and give dogs protection from some of the worst weather.

With the help of our “Angels for Animals” doghouse sponsors, we can protect even more dogs this winter—and in the years to come. Take a look at this video, and see for yourself all the things that can be accomplished for freezing “backyard dogs” in just one day out in the field.
