Details: ToiletTree Products has taken their Original Fogless Shower Mirror and turned it into a “Deluxe Version”. This transformed mirror is now 20% larger then the Original Fogless Shower Mirror. The entire outside of the mirror is illuminated by LED lights. Look your best by taking care of your face in your shower. This patented mirror is guaranteed not to fog in the shower. No more suction cups falling off the wall! Our removable, soft silicone adhesive secures the mirror to all shower surfaces and will not damage tiles or shower walls! The mirror conveniently detaches from the bracket so you can easily fill the reservoir before each use. An included self-stored squeegee removes any excess water from the front of your mirror. An adjustable frame makes the mirror accommodating for multiple users and angles. The combination of heat and moisture open the pores and creates an ideal environment for shaving, exfoliating, tweezing and cleaning.

To use, simply slide the mirror off the bracket before each shower and fill with hot water. The hot water will keep the mirror the same temperature as the environment in your shower which makes it scientifically impossible for your mirror to ever fog. Filling the mirror each shower takes 5-7 seconds. To turn LED lights “on” simply tap the button located on the right side of the mirror, tap the button once more for a lower light setting, tap a third time to turn off.

Personal Experience: ToiletTree sent along a complimentary Deluxe LED Fogless Shower Mirror for the purpose of the review. By now, I probably don’t need to tell you that getting it free does not affect my opinions. 😉

The Fogless Shower Mirror has many things going for it. It was easy to install in the shower and all of the materials were included. It can be removed just as easily, if you choose, without damaging the tiles. I do have some concern the adhesive won’t holdup to adjusting the mirror and the repeated removing of the mirror to fill and empty. More on that later.

The mirror itself is very large with plenty of viewing space. It’s not so large that you will find yourself constantly bumping into it, though. I do wish the little shelf on it was a bit bigger. It’s enough for a basic razor, but I wish it was larger to hold more items.

The LED does a great job of lighting up the mirror. Our actual shower area is poorly lit (another of those future DIY projects of ours), so the extra lighting came in handy even beyond the use of the mirror. I found it very helpful when using my Professional Skin Care System that I previously reviewed. (Yes, I do still use it!) It gave me the much-needed extra light for properly washing my face. It’s so much easier to do right along with my shower… the steam is great for your pores!

The included squeegee is a nice touch. Great for quickly clearing away accumulated water and the occasional soap splatter. It helps keep the mirror clean enough that I am washing it far less than our main bathroom mirror. How do we manage to get toothpaste on a mirror, anyhow?

A well behind the mirror is filled with water from your shower to keep it fogless. It is an effective technique, but my feelings on this are a bit mixed. While it is effective, I do worry that the means of making it fogless could end up a bit of a breeding ground for mold. You dump out the water, but the remains will settle back in as it hangs on its hook.

I think it would have been very wise to find a way to rotate the mirror between uses, or something to that effect, so that the water could drain out. It also would make it easier to fill and empty if it rotated. As it is now, you have to remove it from the base to fill and empty and I worry that will loosen the adhesive also.

Overall, a good mirror with a few concerns. The Deluxe LED Fogless Shower Mirror with Squeegee regularly sells for $49.95. A larger shelf, an easier means to drain the well, and a lower price would have raised my rating.

Pros: Sleek design with great features like built-in shelf and slot to keep the included squeegee handy. Large mirror. Bright LED lighting. Truly fogless for a lifetime.

Cons: Well for water could breed mold. Shelf could be larger.
