logoCompany Bio: Details: Zoey’s Attic officially launched in November 2006 by creator and owner Erin Delanty. The inspiration for the website came shortly after she and her husband welcomed the birth of their first child, baby Bridget, in August of that year. Bridget officially became a big sister herself in May of 2008 and the inspiration continues! After searching unsuccessfully for out-of-the-ordinary newborn baby tees on-line and listening to friends who were having difficulty finding unique big brother/big sister gear, she decided to use her background as a graphic designer and web developer to design her own line of products.

Product Detail: ‘Tis the season of Santa – do you have a little stinker in the family? Looking for a funny and lighthearted personalized Christmas shirt for your little lass or lad? This personalized front only design “Dear Santa I can explain” t-shirt (or bodysuit if preferred) is perfect for school parties, family get togethers and all the fun holiday events! This funny t-shirt is completely customizable: change colors, the wording, add a name, anything you need!

MSRP: $16.50 basic short sleeve; $20 for the long sleeve version reviewed below

Personal Experience: I was very excited for another opportunity to work with Zoey’s Attic. I have been so pleased when reviewing their products previously that it was a guaranteed addition to this year’s gift guide. With Christmas on the brain, I chose this funny “Santa, I Can Explain” tee for Xander. It seems pretty well suited to him… he’ll have some explaining to do. ;)

Like the other items on Zoey’s Attic, the tee I chose had a variety of options to choose from. I know that he will be wearing this during these upcoming cold months, so I chose to go with a basic white tee with long sleeves. You can customize colors in a design if you choose, but I opted to keep things as they were but with Xander’s name.

Let me tell you… I still can’t believe she prints quality this superior in her basement! The actual fibers of the shirt are dyed, so there is no crunchy, cracking print on top of the t-shirt fabric. The colors come out vibrant and bright. I’ve learned from Xander’s other Zoey’s Attic designs that even after many, many washes, the colors are staying put. I love that the dyes uses are also eco-friendly. It’s all around a win for printing.

The shirts are cotton, so they go through the usual bit of shrinkage. I have been able to order his size and they still fit after washing.

I think I can say this again… Overall, I am 100% satisfied with the items I receive from Zoey’s Attic. It’s rare that I hand out a five-star review, but I think it is well deserved here. The items are unique and made with amazing quality. They are a company I will return to again… and again… and again!

Pros: Beautifully printed, fully customized designs. Lots of options from colors to wording. Lasting prints on quality fabrics.

Cons: At a loss for a con here….

  3. That is so cute! I just love the “Dear Santa I can Explain” lol. Like that there’s not the cracking print on the T-shirt. I myself would like the Naughty, nice pillow case. Actually would like 2, but they are a little steep in price, but I know the quality is good from everything you said.so, I am sure its worth it, and it will last. Thinking I will look into it after the holidays this year, so I will have them next year.
