{Knit Stitches} Double Seed Stitch


Notes: The Double Seed stitch is sometimes referred to as the Moss stitch. It is a versatile four-row version of the Seed stitch.

Stitch Count: Any even number of stitches.

Written Instructions:

  • Row 1 (RS): *K1, p1; repeat from * to end.
  • Row 2 (WS): Repeat row 1.
  • Rows 3 and 4: *P1, k1; repeat from * to end.
  • Repeat rows 1 through 4 for desired length.
