I received the following product(s) free or discounted in the hopes that I would share my honest opinion. All opinions are my own.

ORB Factory… now known simply as ORB… has gotten a bit of makeover and design facelift since I last reviewed for them. The updated logo and simplified design are much more in line with how I see the brand. It better fits with the fun, funky, and high-quality products they provide. They also had some fun new products for our family to test out. 🙂 They sent over a Blue Surf and an Ultra Pink from a product line called Morph!

Imagine, if you will, that modeling dough and kinetic sand got together and had a little family. That is the best way I can describe the unique texture of Morph to those who have yet to enjoy playing with it. It starts out feeling a bit like foam peanuts mixed with kinetic sand. It gets more pliable as your hands warm it up. If you pull at it, it looks almost like cotton candy. If you twist at it, it looks like modeling dough. It’s so interesting to see so many textures from one product. It leaves so much potential for your child’s creations!

Morph never dries out! I repeat… never dries out. I can’t be the only one with a kid that can’t properly close lids on containers, right? This makes Morph a money saver. No more dried out, useless dough crumbles. Even when it was left out of the package overnight, Xander was able to pick it right back up and start modeling all over again the next day. Morph also seems to separate by color more easily than dough. It’s nice to be able to truly play with the dough to build more complex creations and not have to worry about it all ending up as a single glob of muddied dough. We’ve also used Morph to replace modeling dough in games and other activities. The cleanup is a breeze! Some other cool things to know is that it will actually bounce. We found the best bounce comes when it’s rounded. It’s also able to float. The water will dry away and your Morph is good as new.

I would love to see ORB offer a variety pack of Morph in smaller amounts. You have to buy each color separately at nearly $15 a box, which could get pricy. However, there is a very substantial amount in each box… easily equivalent to several dough canisters. Morph does stay pliable too, so it would be easy to build your collection up over time. We’re already planning to add a box to Xander’s Easter basket and another for his birthday and then again at Christmas. 🙂

Pros: Unique texture… or should I say textures. Moldable, bounceable, floatable, and squishable. Never dries out! Comes in six bright colors. Easy to clean up.

Cons: Could become expensive to buy multiple colors.
