I received the following product(s) free or discounted in the hopes that I would share my honest opinion. All opinions are my own.

Are you looking for something different in snacking? Do you enjoy trying new things? If you’re ready to get adventurous or you’re looking for a great unusual gift idea, the MunchPak might interest you.

Our family took the challenge to snack adventurously. We received the MunchPak FamilyPak. This is the largest of the snack packs offered and comes with over 20 full-size snack products from around the world! You can see a quick look of all the products in my unboxing video. There did seem to be something of a theme. We received a lot of wafer-type cookies, hard candies, and crunchy snacks.

I am very happy to report that we enjoyed almost everything in the box. Many of the flavors are relatively familiar but with a twist… such as soft Oreo cookies and spicy pretzel sticks. It was a lot of fun to get a taste of what kind of flavors may be favored in other countries. Apparently, chocolate and spicy foods are pretty universal. 😉 My personal favorite was the strawberry soda from Japan. The strawberry flavor was pretty close to natural tasting, so it was like a sparkling strawberry water. Very refreshing! My husband really enjoyed the lemon-flavored wafer cookie. Xander loved the Oblita wafers from Argentina. My nieces and I devoured the Hot Chili Salad Pretz from Thailand.

You can get MunchPaks delivered as often as once a week and as little as once a month. They also offer the option to customize for an extra $1 per option. This includes things like increasing the chance of sweet treats or lowering the chance of sour snacks. You can also add the option to get drinks.

I love that they have a Snack Scanner app. The app tells you a bit about each item simply by scanning the barcode. It also tells you the country of origin. This is how I discovered that what I thought would be like Cheetos was actually a peanut flavored snack. From the app, you can see prices and order additional packages of the things you enjoyed.

Overall, it was a really fun experience for the whole family. The wafer cookies did get a bit repetitive and I’d worry that happens often. I love that they have so many delivery options, so you can probably find a way to work it into any budget. You definitely get your money’s worth! This would be such a fun gift idea for a family or that hard to buy for friend that likes crazy stuff. 😉

Pros: Great chance to discover new flavors! Snack Scanner app is fun. The box can be customized to your tastes. Delivery options from bi-weekly to monthly.

Cons: As with any subscription like this, you may not like everything. Too many wafer-like cookies… lacked variety.
