My knitting club day. I was off-schedule all day… like I just couldn’t keep track of a clock. My breakfast started late and I ate my final meal well after 9pm. Considering I also missed one of my six meals, I was just off-kilter all day.


Breakfast was a return to the Nutrisystem Granola cereal over Greek yogurt and strawberries. The strawberries were a bit too tart this time, so t wasn’t quite as good as last time. Nevertheless, still one of my favorite breakfasts.

I sort of lost track of time and it was after my usual snack and lunch time that I noticed the time. I can’t believe that hunger didn’t clue me in! I did the Three Cheese Chicken for lunch. This is one of those pasta in a cup type of meals. The first time I made this was in the lunch crock. I found that this is one of the dishes that is actually better cooked according to directions… the noodles got mushy in the crock but came out perfectly microwaved. I added a bit of chicken and extra broccoli to boost my protein and veggies. A basic salad on the side completed the meal.

I was not a huge fan of the Italian Sausage and Turkey Pizza the first time, but it is ten times better when it is baked in the oven. I do wish there was better coverage of the crust by the toppings, but the flavor is reminiscent of “real” pizza. You don’t feel like you’re missing out. I was feeling a bit bored with salads, so I didn’t have a side with this… but I did add a Creamy Chocolate Protein Shake.

I am low on snacks that are easy to take along, so I grabbed a high-protein meal replacement bar that my mom gave me. They are from a competitor and she wasn’t a fan of the flavor. Have to admit… Nutrisystem’s version is much better. It worked well as a quick snack that didn’t make a mess while I was knitting.

I had dessert sometime after I got home and got the Prince off to bed. It was well after 9pm and better than 3 hours after my snack. Those little Chocolate Chip Cookies tasted so good! I was unusually hungry for that time of night, but it is most likely because my meal schedule was so crazy today and my calorie cont was way low.

Today’s menu consisted of 1,280 calories, 94 grams protein, and 38 grams of fat.
