{Nutrisystem Nation} Week Two Wrap-Up & Weigh In

Time to share how my second week went and reveal the results! You can get the more detailed feedback on each day by viewing my daily posts, but I’ll sum it up her for those who tire of my long-winded nature. :P

Week two was my first “real” week on Nutrisystem. I jumped from the 1000-calorie Fast 5 program to my regular 1800-calorie plan. I struggled to even reach the limits of the 1500 calorie plan. I was certain something was wrong, so I contacted my counselor to get more information. Turned out that my concerns were valid… I had been incorrectly placed on the 1800 plan. It’s a good thing I had been around 1500 all week, because that’s where I should be.

This week brought on the desserts! It was great to indulge in a daily treat and still keep on track. So far, I haven’t met a Nutrisystem dessert I didn’t like. ;) I got to experience Red Velvet cake for the first time and I want more! The only slightly disappointing “dessert” was the Zesty Herb Snack Mix I had on Day 11.

This week also brought about the frozen meal selections. These tasted fresher to me and had an overall better texture. I feel that it would be worth upgrading your plan to get the frozen items.

I tackled Easter like a pro. I didn’t over-indulge and I planned my Nutrisytem meals right into the existing menus of the dinners I had at other places. I exercised five of the seven days. That doesn’t include the walk with my family and soccer practice with my son. Overall, a productive and on-track week.

With all that said, let’s take a look at the results for week 2…

So, despite an overall good week, I gained o.3 pounds and my measurements all stayed the same. It was a bit disappointing and I started week three lacking some of my motivation. Stay tuned to find out how week three goes.
