boldloftDetails: Need a gift for an upcoming wedding? Trying to find something just right for your anniversary? What are you getting Mom on Mother’s Day or Dad on Father’s Day? I have found an adorable store that will help you in your quest.

BoldLoft, featured on shows like Nate Berkus and the Today Show, specializes in matching gifts for LOVEly couples: coordinated pillowcases, his and hers mugs, and matching shirts… everything that will make other couples go “awwww!” BoldLoft isn’t just for couples. They also offer a selection of gifts for mom and dad, too!

Personal Experience: BoldLoft provided me with a pillowcase set of my choice to review. I chose the Zodiac of Love© Couple Pillowcase Set. You get your choice of two zodiac signs (Cancer and Aquarius seen here). Each sign has a whimsical representation of the star sign. The actual constellation is worked within the design and glows in the dark! The back of the pillow has the zodiac symbol and three key traits of the sign.

They are made of a very soft but strong cotton/ polyester blend. Each set of two is $24.95.

They arrived packaged in neat little matchbox-style packages. I felt like I was opening a little gift. Lucky thing, because these would just happen to make an awesome gift! :)

Inside Details

Inside Details

The printed design manages to be beautifully vibrant in color without being stiff and uncomfortable to rest your cheek on. I loved all the little details. A cuff of fabric inside helps to hold your pillow in place. All of the seams were straight, neat, and crisp with tight stitching. Even the company’s tag is stylish.

The glow-in-the dark feature is a fun little extra and my favorite thing about these pillows. It is a nice soft glow… nothing that will disturb your rest. Unfortunately, I was not able to get a clear picture of the glow, but if you look closely in the picture above you can see the constellation outlines over the top of the zodiac pictures.

Easy to Wash

Easy to Wash

Washing was a snap. I turned them inside out and washed according to the tag directions (cold water) and dried on my dryers’ medium setting. They have been washed and dried this way a dozen times already and look every bit as good as the day I got them… and they still glow in the dark, too!

If these pillowcases are representative of what BoldLoft offers, then you (or your lucky gift recipients) will not be disappointed!

Pros: Whimsical, unique, and well-made. Great gifts for couples… or something to add charm to your own home or wardrobe. Excellent prices!

Cons: The only negative is one that many people may not even be concerned with, but I felt that not all types of couples were well represented. Items like this pillowcase set would work, but the majority of the sets are designed for specifically male/ female couples. Something BoldLoft may want to consider is adding more choice to their selections.

  1. Thanks for the review. It really helps out because I have a wedding coming up & now I know what to get them for a gift.

    • Oh, yes, many of their selections would make a perfect wedding gift. I do believe they also offer gift certificates if you are not quite sure which design they’d like best.
