Details: Bekah Jennings‘ banners celebrate life’s best moments. Every letter is hand stamped in acrylic paint on heavy weight paperboard tiles much thicker than cardstock. There is something here for nearly every holiday and occasion, but if you would like different colors or specific phrases there is an option to order custom banners. Ready-made banners range from $3.00 to $31.00.

Personal Experience: Bekah told me she wanted to share one of her latest banners with me… something special she had created for the season… and I couldn’t wait to see what she had for me. I have admired her banners for some time and have a few added to my favorites to order for upcoming holidays.

My banner arrived in a neat little package just a few days later. It was further packaged within a storage bag, which will be handy for storing and keeping it dry.

As I unfurled my new banner, I thought that the colors immediately reminded me of Spring… robin’s egg blue, soft yellow, pretty pink, and new grass green. The little stamped flowers and the lettering style gave it a touch of whimsy. The edging of grey gave the whole banner a softer, wispy look perfect for the season. The square cards of the banner are like a thick cardstock. It’s very light, yet very sturdy. It’s all held together with a long ribbon in just the right shade of aqua.

Now to hang it. My doorway is not quite so pretty as the one Bekah uses in her product photograph and I wanted to hang it somewhere that I could enjoy it every day, so I hung it across the picture window in our living room. There was plenty of excess ribbon for me to hang it just as I liked. I then added a few Easter decorations to the window surrounding the banner and VOILA! Spring sprang!

My picture really doesn’t do this adorable banner any justice. It brightened up the whole room and distracted us from the snow still lingering beyond the window.

I wish the same results could be achieved on a more weather-resistant material… something I could hang outdoors. The cards used are very sturdy, but I worry about moisture or other mishaps damaging it. Even so, I still intend to move those banners in my favorites list over to my cart and bring a banner to many more seasons in our home!

Pros: Cute! Bright colors and very well made. An affordable way to add cheer to a doorway, mantle, above a bed, or anywhere. FAST shipping… even custom orders will arrive in a week.

Cons: Though made of a sturdy card material, the fact that it’s paper does concern me a bit for long-term.
