Details: Distinctive and beautiful, Hapari swimwear is designed to enhance a woman’s natural beauty — no matter her shape.
At Hapari, they believe that every woman deserves a fit that will flatter her figure because she should look and feel great while having fun in the sun. And that is why their swimwear is created from the finest fabrics and with body-shaping features to help you feel comfortable and confident!
Whether you’re looking for a tankini, bikini, one-piece or plus size swimwear, they believe you should never sacrifice style for comfort and coverage. And with Hapari, you’ll never have to!
Personal Experience: I was given the opportunity to choose a variety of pieces from the Hapari collection. I was immediately impressed with the variety of options available for plus-size gals like myself.
I chose two one-piece suits and a pair of board short cover ups: Dream Blue Plus Size V-Neck One Piece, Denim Dancing Leaves Plus Size Twist One Piece Swimsuit, and Dream Blue Plus Size Cover-Up Board Shorts. My intention was to have one solid suit and one printed suit that would coordinate with the shorts. At my weight, I’m just not terribly comfortable with the basic suit bottom and I thought this would give me the coverage I seek and allow for variety.
I did have a bit of a hiccup with shipping choices. I’m not sure if it was a site issue or because I was using a gift code, but I wasn’t able to choose the cheapest shipping option… my shipping was over $10. My swimwear arrived very quickly… ahead of the projected arrival date… so the $10 fee was worth it if you need your swimwear quickly.
I was a bit disappointed to see that my computer monitor did not display the colors very clearly. The printed suit was more of an aqua color while the solid suit and shorts were a true blue. (My photos below do not show the blue well, either… but the print is very close to actual color.) It’s always a risk with ordering online, but Hapari has a simple return policy if you run into this issue. I chose not to return the printed suit… my mom was more than happy to take it off my hands and give me reason to order again. 😉
The swimwear runs true-to-size. These pieces are the best fitting swimwear that I’ve found… especially as a plus size. The leg openings did not ride up… they had good coverage that fit closely to my leg without being constricting. The elements of the suit line up in all the right places to flatter my shape. I only wish that the top had slightly more coverage. This is a personal preference, but I felt a bit over-exposed up top. My mom reported back that her suit fit great and she loves it.
The fabric quality is very good. It runs on the thicker side. The material is stretchy and forgiving, but durable enough to compress and support in all the right places. It’s not going to turn me into a size 1, but it did make me feel more confident in my swimwear.
The prices are very good for the quality and they have frequent sales that make that price even better. At the time I chose my suits, all plus-size swimwear was half price. I was able to get two one-piece suits and a pair of board shorts for around $100! My previous suit was from a popular chain store and nowhere near the quality of my Hapari suits. I paid over $50 for one ill-fitting suit… on sale. As I lose weight, I know where I’ll be going back for more swimwear. 😉
Pros: Great selection for all sizes. Tons of coordinating pieces to mix and match your own look. Well-made with strong but stretchy material. Great sales!
Cons: Pay attention to color names so you don’t make the same mistake I did with mismatched looks.
