I was recently given the opportunity to review one of the gorgeous items from the Joseph Nogucci collection. They provided me with one of their Kismet Links bracelets in exchange for my honest and unbiased view. I have to be honest here… I think I was in love with this bracelet before it even arrived on my doorstep! I knew that if it was half as lovely as it looked in the photos, then I was going to have a winner. Let me tell you… it wasn’t half as lovely… it was every bit as lovely! Before I get into the details, I’m just going to gush a little bit and tell you that I love, love, love it! I literally wear it every day with everything.

I received the black Kismet Links bracelet. This classic combination of silver and black goes with nearly everything and it can easily be dressed up or dressed down. I have worn it everywhere from an evening dinner out with my husband to a day of serious shopping. You can also get the Kismet bracelet in eight other color combinations including white/ silver, white/ gold, and strawberry/ silver, so you could truly have one for every outfit.

The silver links are arranged in tight rows and they lie slightly on an angle. The black nylon cord peeks through between each link. It gives the whole bracelet an overall look of being jeweled. When you move your wrist, the light glints off the silver rings. I love little touches like the company logo etched into a bead and the little jewels embedded in the beads on the cord. The overall look catches attention… I’ve had many people ask where they could get one.

I love the spiritual and symbolic nature of Joseph Nogucci pieces. It adds another layer to jewelry that is already simply lovely. The Kismet bracelet represents destiny and fate.

I was a bit concerned about the nylon cord construction, but Kismet has held up beautifully to daily wear. I have not noticed any fraying of the cord or stretching out. This style of bracelet is very easy to put on and take off. You simply pull the dangling cords and it tightens on the wrist. This means you can fit it to nearly any size wrist easily.

Overall, it is my favorite bracelet and probably will hold that title for quite some time. It’s like the little black dress of bracelets. In my humble opinion, it would make a beautiful gift for a very lucky female in your life. 😉

Pros: Lovely all-occasion design. Strong cord. Easy to wear.

Cons: The cost is probably prohibitive for many, but you get lots of bang for your buck.

I received this product free or discounted in the hopes that I would share my opinions. As someone who relies on honest reviews to make purchases, I work hard to provide other consumers with a thorough, truthful, and unbiased opinion of my personal experiences.

joseph-nogucci-logoThe Joseph Nogucci collection offers an eclectic and expansive range of designs, all drawing inspiration from a wealth of sources. Charged with symbolic significance and historical, mystical, & popular meaning, Joseph Nogucci’s pieces of wearable art always have more behind them than meets the eye. Joseph Nogucci’s catalogue includes jewelry crafted from semi-precious stones, precious metals, beads, crystals & much more.

Since time immemorial, eastern mysticism has been inextricably linked to the concept of fate, an unknowable universal force guiding us all down our pre-determined paths. In the Hindi tongue, Kismet is synonymous with destiny, for that which was meant to be and surely will someday be. The Kismet Links bracelet is inspired by this ideal of destiny, and the belief that all is for the best, even when it doesn’t appear to be so at first glance. Our individual fates do not confine us – they guides us, protects us, and brings us where we need to go, even if we don’t yet realize it. The linked chains of the Kismet are designed to represent the interlocking bonds of destiny, drawn together to form a dependable and fateful path that stretches out into eternity. ($68.00)
