The ordering process was very simple. I chose my favorite design from their selection. They have five basic rectangular puzzles available… four with decorative frame effects. They also offer two heart-shaped puzzle designs. There is a plain heart and one framed with a heart design prefect for loved ones. If a circle is more your thing, they also have a plain and framed circle. The frame on the circle is a birthday-themed design. Each comes in a variety of sizes (as large as 22.5″ x 32”) and number of pieces (up to 2000). I chose the basic medium (8.5″ x 11”) rectangular puzzle in 48 pieces.

The hardest part of the process came next… which photo to use! I decided I wanted to have a puzzle that was cute but also a challenge. I chose a favorite photo that I had taken of Xander walking at the local nature preserve. It was part of the little photo shoot I did for his two-year pictures. The file was very large, but it only took about a minute to upload to their site.

At this point you just need to enter your shipping information and any personalization you would like on the photo. They can add names, phrases, dates, and the like. Their designers will crop the photo and select a font to provide you with the best possible design.

My puzzle arrived just a week after I ordered it. That was fast for a personalized product!

It was packaged very nicely inside a cardboard box with a copy of the photo applied to the top. The puzzle pieces were all inside a plastic Ziplock-type baggie inside.

The puzzle pieces were well cut and very sturdy. The colors are vibrant and it was a nice crisp printing. Having now seen the quality of this cardboard puzzle, I would love to try the wooden puzzles. We had a lot of fun putting it together. The oranges, yellows, and greens of the leaves gave us a little challenge even in this 48-piece puzzle.

We enjoyed the puzzle so much that we have plans to give these picture puzzles as gifts to close relatives next Christmas. They will be a great way to showcase his three-year pictures!

Pros: Easy to create. Many fun designs and sizes. Unique gift idea. Lots of options for every occasion and budget.

Cons: Cost is much higher than a stock puzzle, but that’s to be expected.
