I received the following product(s) free or discounted in the hopes that I would share my honest opinion. All opinions are my own.
I have something for my essential oil fans again! Simply Earth, which is based right here in my home state, sent along another of their essential oil recipe boxes for me to try. (I reviewed one last year and loved it!) I think this honestly has to be my favorite subscription box of any type yet! The December essential oil box has a theme of Merry Christmas… and it made Christmas merry indeed!
The items in the box were very centered around simple gift ideas. The kit contains four wintery essential oils (Fir Needle, Pine Scotch, Cinnamon, and Peppermint) plus almond oil, amber glass vials, a small container, and a bath bomb mold. The recipes included this month’s box include peppermint lip scrub, pine cone air freshener, and bath bomb. I have made several gifts using this month’s box plus will be using it for a sleepover with my nieces. I love the idea of not only getting better acquainted with essential oils but also being able to share the love.
The oils are, of course, the real star here. Simply Earth oils are purely high quality. They source their oils from around the world in order to get the highest quality possible. They also have some of the best prices I have seen for essential oils of this quality.
I really do enjoy these kits. I consider my essential oil education a work in progress. These kits give me a great chance to try oils I may not have plus give me projects to put them to practical use. Many of the items would work well in group settings too… like our upcoming sleepover. Overall, a great idea for yourself or an amazing idea for gifts!
The monthly charge of $39 is a bit tough for those on smaller budgets, but you would pay that for just one or two essential oils elsewhere and you can pause at any time. They also offer an option to pay for three months at a time for $45. I would still love to see a smaller teaser type kit for smaller budgets.
This would make a great gift! Use my code TONYABANGARTFREE to get a $40 gift card emailed to you after subscribing on your first box (SUBSCRIPTION CAN BE CANCELLED ANYTIME).
Pros: Full-size products. Great value for what’s included. Should only need a few home basic to complete recipes. Projects are fun, easy, and useful!
Cons: Cost may be a problem for some.
