As my familiarity with the benefits of aromatherapy and essential oils grows, I am exploring more ways to make use of them in our home. Vividay provided me with a free sample of their 300ml Aroma Diffuser and Ultrasonic Humidifier to test in our home.

This generously-sized diffuser features a huge capacity of 300ml so you don’t need to refill as often. It can run up to 10 hours on one refill! Though it has such a huge capacity for a diffuser, it doesn’t really have that big of a footprint. Vividay designed this to be taller rather than wider. The column shape allows for the maximum use of space and looks nice in any room. They even placed the logo and buttons to the opposite side of the output opening, so you can get a nice sleek look by placing this to the rear.

The Vividay 300ml Aroma Diffuser and Ultrasonic Humidifier puts out a strong, steady stream of aromatic vapor. I was able to detect the scent of our essential oils within moments of starting the device. I like that you can also set this to do intermittent rather than steady diffusion. When used with lavender for sleeping, I was able to keep it running all through the night this way and found steadier, more restful sleep. If you would like to run it for set lengths of time, there are several timer options ranging from 60 minutes to steadily on. It has an auto shut off safety feature that turns the device off when the water level gets too low.

The diffuser also features a color-changing lamp. I have tried a few diffusers and have yet to have one with such a great variety of ways to use the lamp. It has 7 colors including all standard rainbow colors and a warm white. You can set it to cycle through all the colors or choose a single color. On top of this, you can also choose a dimmed mode for any color option. I love this feature! It makes it function well as a night light or a decorative lamp. You can even run the diffuser without the lamp on or vice versa.

A few extra touches sealed the deal on this being my favorite diffuser. The cover is easy to remove. The control buttons are easy to locate and understand. They included a little water cup to make it easier to fill. Even the power cord is designed to stay as low profile as possible. The only thing that could make this better is a remote control.

Pros: Generous capacity. Non-heating diffusion to protect essential oils. Strong flow. Multiple timer options with auto shut off. Numerous lamp color options. Diffuser be operated without lamp.

Cons: None with the device, but a remote would be amazing addition.
