You can definitely detect the use of real fruit extract in the flavors of the lollipops… they are very close to the flavors of the whole fruit. The Very Very Cherry, Razzmataz Berry, and Pomegranate Pucker were my personal favorite lollipop flavors. They are just the right size to stave off a sugar attack and at just 70 calories and 0 grams of fat for three, they can fit right into a healthy eating plan.

Ahhh, but what do kids think of them? We will let Xander demonstrate for you…

In case you’re new here… that second frame is Xander’s “mmmmmmmmm” face. It’s funnier when he does it on video with fll sound effects and all, but every time I tried to catch him at it he would stop. Little bugger. 😛

I nearly skipped on the Sour Beans. Jelly beans of any type have never really been my thing, so I figured I would leave the testing to my husband. But, what kind of reviewer would I be if I didn’t give them a fair shot, right? So I snatched a few from my husband and tossed them in my mouth. I didn’t expect to be all that impressed. Boy was I wrong! Oh… so… YUMMMMMMMM! They have this amazing sourness that you think is going to be too much and then the sweetness hits. They’re very addictive. They also are just 69 calories per pouch and fat free too. We pretty much fought over who would get what was left. (Just between you and me… I may have hidden a few for “safe keeping” until we order more. ;))

Pros: Very tasty! The candies are all gluten free, peanut free, soy free, dairy free, fat free, and tree nut free. They are made with no artificial dyes but with real fruit extracts. All natural… some organic and/or vegan!

Cons: As you expect with natural and organic candies, they are a bit more expensive than their chemical-laden counterparts.

  3. Hilarious! I never thought someone would come up with organic sweets. Then again, I’m don’t care as much. But your son’s Mmmm face is so cute! I’d go for these candies solely by virtue of his expression.

    • They put so much more crud in everything today than years ago that unfortunately these products have become something people feel the need to seek out, but they’re great in their own right… as the Prince’s MMM Face shows!

    • I’m not even a jelly bean fan and I couldn’t put these down! The 69 calories is a welcome bonus… especially when they are so good!

  6. I like that the lollipops are made with fruit extract and actually taste like real fruit. 90% of the time “fruit” flavored candy’s flavor doesnt resemble anything like the fruit- thats a little creepy.

    • It is very strange when something fruit flavored tastes so generic. I love how genuine the fruit flavor was in their candies.
