Company Bio: Zymbol represents the world’s first line of Interactive Empowerment Jewelry. How is it interactive? Within the symbol you can find every letter of the alphabet and every number hidden in plain sight!
Zymbol™ was ‘accidentally’ created when company Founder Sally Short was doodling, and wrote down the phrase ‘LOVE IS ALL U NEED’ stacking each letter on top of the next, and then adding a peace sign to complete the design. Sally then sent the design off to be cast as a ‘Love and Peace’ pendant.
But something happened when the Short family received the pendant; they randomly saw it sitting sideways and noticed a ‘K’ popping out. “There is no ‘K’ in the phrase LOVE IS ALL U NEED,” commented Sally’s Daughter Merida. That motivated the family to see what other letters they could find and they ended up uncovering EVERY LETTER of the ALPHABET and EVERY NUMBER hidden within the symbol!
The Short Family decided to create a line of inspirational jewelry based around the design. They named it Zymbol as it is a symbol that represents all letters A through Z.
Product Details: This is a one size fits all adjustable bracelet comprised of pewter with a stylish & durable cotton cord.
Personal Experience: Zymbol provided me with one of their unique Women’s Wrap & Tuck Bracelets for this review. I have previously reviewed one of their pendants and I still wear it almost every day of the week and get numerous questions about it. I was very excited to add to my Zymbol collection with this lovely bracelet.
Tucked inside the box is a card with an area for you to trace out a message or special phrase for your lucky recipient. You can see what makes this symbol so unique. It can literally say whatever you want or need it to say… and it all began with the message “Love is all you need!”
I really like the styling of the wrap bracelet. It’s just a simple chord and a few beads… perfect for any of your everyday outfits. The Zymbol symbol is sized just right to stand out but not overtake your wrist. They even put a slight bend into it, so that it fits comfortably and naturally against your wrist. It was a great little detail that I wouldn’t have thought of myself, but makes all the difference in wearing this piece. I almost forget I’m wearing it!
To secure the bracelet onto your wrist, you literally just wrap the beads at the end around the length of chord on your wrist. The beads work with your wrist to keep it all in place. I do worry a bit about it falling off, but honestly I’ve had no real reason to… it has never loosened up on my wrist or slipped off in any way. My mom tried it on and pointed out that it was very easy for her to put on herself. That’s something she ordinarily struggles with.
I tend to favor bracelets and anklets in the summer. For some reason wearing a necklace makes me feel warmer. Is that weird? For this reason, the Wrap & Tuck Bracelet has taken over as my daily piece. It will also look great paired with the necklace for a coordinated set. I also discovered that it works well as a ponytail wrap. I place the Zymbol design over my ponytail and wrap and tuck the remaining chord around my ponytail above and below the symbol. It looked awesome!
All of the Zymbol pieces are just lovely and have such a wonderful message behind them. I love that they donate one to a children’s hospital for every one sold, so when you buy one it is actually two gifts. I highly recommend this company!
Pros: Zymbol donates one to a children’s hospital for every one sold. Unique and clever symbol that suits any occasion, because you create the message! Curved, fitted, versatile design that will pair well with nearly any outfit. Wrap style is easy to secure.
Cons: Cord and bead construction typically wears out more quickly than full metal pieces.
