Cara and Finley grew up surrounded by family. There was always a parent or grandparent around to be there for them. They grew up intelligent, inquisitive, responsible, and polite. Despite being twins, Cara and Finley were not very close once they reached their teen years. It’s actually quite surprising because they both were very creative and shared several personality traits. Cara painted stunning artwork and Finley was a master with words. Both of them were already earning an impressive income from their talents before they even graduated from high school.
The men of the house… Grandpa Ross, Xander, and Finley… were always doing “manly man” things together. They loved to go camping in nearby Granite Falls, fishing in all the local parks, and challenge each other to marathon gaming sessions. We do need to give them some credit. They did try to include the women in their adventures, but Grandma Tonya, Caty, and Cara preferred to take it easy and enjoy more relaxing activities. 😉
Cara and Finley shared a drive to get out on their own. With an elder family member always close at hand, they had led a rather sheltered life. They wanted a little danger and a little excitement. It was Finley that first made the big move and left home. While at their birthday party, Finley met his mother’s friend Farrah. (You can read Farrah’s story here.) The slightly older woman captured his attention immediately. He followed her around like a puppy dog! Farrah found it all a bit awkward… it was her friend’s son, after all… but they started to chat. A romance bloomed that night. ♥
The story of Finley and Farrah is coming in the next installment of our Legacy series. We’re getting so close to our current generation and I will soon be able to share hybrid stories with you… a bit of the screenshots we’ve had mixed in with moment captures and let’s play videos. It’ll bring so much more to this series! While you wait, catch up on the past Sim Stories.
