Spring is in the air and that means it’s time to put away the boots and strap on something a bit airier… it’s time for sandals to make their debut! Unfortunately, many sandals are designed to look good, but they don’t do your feet any favors. 🙁 Therafit it different. As they say themselves…

Therafit Footwear products are designed for optimal support and cushioning with the goal of providing you with reliable comfort, protection and relief from arch pain, heel pain, plantar fasciitis, pronation and other foot pain symptoms.

I can confidently tell you that this quote is not just a bunch of hoopla and sales pitch. The first warm day of Spring in Wisconsin was also the same day my husband’s dad was taking us on a tour of the boat factory where he used to work. I wanted to stay cool and look good, so I put on my Cassandra Wedge Sandals for the first time. It turned out to be a full day of walking on concrete, stone, and pavement. We put on over 13,000 steps just in the factory!

And you know what? My feet felt great all day! While everyone else was ready to put up their sneakered feet, I was ready to go for another 13,000 steps. I felt no pain in my arches like I typically do after a lot of walking. My shins, which have been problematic for me for many years, were also free of pain. While I wouldn’t exactly recommend working in open-toed shoes at a factory, I think I comfortably could have in the Cassandra Wedge Sandals! 😉

The comfort of the Cassandra Wedge Sandals and other Therafit shoes is largely due to the signature Personal Comfort Adapters. These adapters are three pegs in the sole of the shoe that allow you to adjust for your preferred impact resistance. Until you try it for yourself, it’s really hard to truly explain what a difference it can make to have this option. It is so great to be able to make a shoe fit the activities and surfaces that will be a part of your day. And, it’s so easy to change the adapters that I keep the spares in my pocket or bag to change as needed.

The Cassandra Wedge Sandals footbed molds to the foot. There are separate indentations for the toes plus the heel has a nice deep cup to support your properly. There is velcro on both the piece that goes over the top of your foot and behind the heel, so you can get a nice snug fit.

They’re not only comfortable, but the Cassandra Wedge Sandals are very stylish. The look would work well for casual or for work. The material looks a bit stiff, but it’s actually a breathable, woven cloth. It molded right to my foot. Little details like the flowers on the footbed make it flirty. They come in black or tan.

I only have two wishes. I would like to see more colors. Cassandra Wedge Sandals have such a great basic shape that I know they would go well with my whole spring and summer wardrobe. I would also love to see half sizes to get an even more custom-fitted feel. I wear a size 8½, so I needed to order a 9. They run slightly long on me.
